While searching a residence QAC Sheriff’s Office located what appeared to an explosive devices and evidence of a lab to produce methamphetamine.

Detectives working on a series of thefts from motor vehicles executed a search & seizure warrant early this morning at a residence located on Duhamel Corner Road in northern Queen Anne’s County. While searching the residence they located what appeared to an explosive devices and evidence of a lab to produce methamphetamine.  Detectives then cleared the residence until bomb techs from the MD Fire Marshall Office and DENRC (Delaware Emergency Response Units) could arrive.

The investigation is ongoing. As the case progresses a more detailed release will be completed.

QA Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit was assisted by MD State Fire Marshall, DENRC, Sudlersville VFD, QA EMS, QA EOC and Choptank Electric.
