Man charged with Attempted Murder from an incident that took place at a QA High School football game last Friday.

INCIDENT: At QA HIGH SCHOOL (11/11/2016)
An assault occurred on the visitor side of the football game between two adult males both believed to be from Cecil County area.
One subject sustained a stab wound to the chest area and was flown to Shock Trauma. The suspect is in custody at this time.
The incident is believed to be domestic related and not over politics.
The assault was an isolated occurrence and quickly contained to a degree that the football game continued.
We ask that posts on Social Media remain factual until detectives conclude their investigation.
The suspect (Wesson) was attending the QA vs Elkton Football game when he engaged in an argument with his estranged wife who was also at the game to watch their son playing. A third party, a male friend of Mrs. Wesson attempted to intervene and was stabbed in the chest by Mr. Wesson.
Rodney O’Neal Wesson (50) of Baltimore & Cecil County has been charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree, Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Deadly Weapon with intent to injure. He is currently being held at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center on NO BAIL.
Detectives advised that the injured subject survived his wound and may be released at some point today.
