Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Deputy Shot, In Critical Condition.

UPDATE on Dfc. HOGAN’S CONDITION

During the night, Dfc. Warren Scott Hogan incurred a few issues causing some concern, however we’ve just been advised that his current condition has improved and now listed as serious. As Dr. Scalia said during the yesterday’s press conference Hogan suffered a devastating injury and faces additional surgeries and a long recovery period.

We have also been contacted by numerous persons on how they could help Scott and his family. In addition to prayers, for those who are interested the QAC FOP Lodge #108 of which Scott is a member has started a

to aid the Hogan family.

 

UPDATE:

The identity of the injured deputy is Dfc. Warren Scott Hogan a four year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office. He is out of surgery and remains in critical condition.

Wednesday evening @ 2136 Hours, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance at 209 Edmore Road, Chestertown (QA County). The female involved later responded to the Sheriff’s Headquarters.
Shortly after midnight, the female was escorted to the residence on a domestic standby in order to get clothing.


While inside the residence, the suspect armed himself with a shotgun and fired at the Deputy, who returned fire. Both subjects were hit.
The Deputy, a four year veteran was flown to Shock Trauma and is currently in surgery and at this time is considered to be in critical condition. No information is available on the condition of the suspect at this time.


The Maryland State Police – Homicide Unit is lead investigators of this incident.
