Warrant Service/CDS Arrest:     

On April 072017,Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6000 block of Tilghman Avenue, Tilghman, Maryland in reference to a warrant service.  Deputies made contact with Brooke Treasure Cummings, 34 of Tilghman, Maryland and arrested her on two outstanding Talbot County Circuit Court body attachments.  While making the arrest, Deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and issued Cummings a civil citation for possession of paraphernalia. Cummings was taken before a District Court Commissioner on the body attachments and ordered held without bond at the Talbot County Detention Center.

 

 

CDS ARREST:      

On April 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation on Oxford Road near the Trippe Creek Bridge. Talbot County Sheriff’s Office K-9 “Fred” responded to the scene and conducted a scan of the vehicle.  “Fred” alerted to the presence of a controlled dangerous substance in the vehicle, resulting in a vehicle search. Deputies located marijuana and charged Brian Beecher, 33 of Easton, MD on a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Beecher was released on his signature. 

 

 

CDS ARREST:      

On April 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation on Money Make Road in Trappe, MD.  Deputies detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted. The driver, Dallas Strickland, 18 of Trappe, MD was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Strickland was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released on his signature. 

 

 

 

CDS ARREST:       

On April 8, 2017Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office met with Antonio Joseph Ruffini20 of Easton, MD at the Sheriff’s OfficeRuffinistated he wanted to make a complaint on an aggressive driver. The Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana and alcohol coming from Ruffini. Deputies conducted a probable cause search of Ruffini and his vehicle, locating marijuana and alcohol in his vehicle. Ruffini was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and was released on his signature to a sober driver.
