CDS ARREST:       

On April 102017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a silver in color Hyundai in the area of Cordova Road and Ashe Acres for a moving violation.  Deputies identified the driver as Holly Geib, 31 and the passenger as Amber Candel, 32 both of Easton, Maryland. Deputies detected aodor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and a probable cause search was conductedCandel was found to be in possession of marijuana and Geib was found to be in possession of methadone without a prescription. Geib was arrested and charged with possession of methadone. Geib was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was released on personal recognizance. Candel was released upon her signature on a civil citation for possession of marijuana. 

 

 

 

CDS ARREST/VEHICLE PURSUIT:       

On April 10, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office observed a suspicious vehicle in the Arby’s parking lot. Upon contact with the lone occupant, Robert Alexander Cameron26 of Easton, MD, the deputies detected the odor of marijuana and alcohol coming from the vehicle. Cameron was asked several times to exit his vehicle but drove off instead leading the deputies on a short vehicle pursuit. Cameron crashed his vehicle into the back of a tow truck at Ocean Gateway and Chapel Road. No one was injured during the pursuit or motor vehicle accident. Cameron was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana and cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and fleeing and eluding a police officer. Cameron was taken before District Court Commissioner and was released on his personal recognizance.

 

 

CDS ARREST:      

On April 102017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a white in color Mazda for a traffic violation on Cordova Road at Old Cordova RoadDeputies identified the driver as Christopher Louis Cook, 24 of Greensboro, MD.  Cook advised Deputies that he had marijuana inside of the vehicle and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located a jar containing marijuana and paraphernalia. Cook was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released from the scene on his signature. 

 

 

 

CDS ARREST:​ 

On April 112017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a black in color Ford for a traffic violation on Ocean Gateway at Manadier RoadDeputies identified the driver as Treyvon Lamar Johnson, 25 of Hurlock, Maryland.  Deputies found that Johnson’s license status was suspended, and Johnson advised Deputies he thought marijuana was inside of the vehicle.  Deputies conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located a plastic container of marijuana.  Johnson was issued motor vehicle citations and a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Johnson was released from the scene on his signature

 

 

 

WARRANT SERVICE:       

On April 12, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served an outstanding Circuit Court Bench Warrant on Jaycee Thomas Cummings, 39 of Tilghman, Maryland for violation of probation. The original charges were for theft less than $1000.00. Cumming was held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond. 

 

 

 

WARRANT SERVICE:       

On April 13, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served an outstanding Circuit Court Bench warrant on Morgan Felix White, 57 of Salisbury, Maryland for failure to appear in Talbot County Court for driving on a suspended license. White was held at the Talbot County Detention Center on a $148.00 bond. 

 

 

 

WARRANT SERVICE:       

On April 17, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served a District Court bench warrant on Sheldon Terrill Nieves, 24 of Trappe, MD. Nieves was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his probation.  Nieves was seen by the District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.  

 

 

 

CDS ARREST:       

On April 17, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Matthewstown Road.  Deputies identified the driver as Michael Andrew Shorter, 41 of Easton, MD.  The Sheriff’s Office K-9 “Fred” was called to perform a scan of the vehicle.  The scan resulted in a positive alert to the presence of contraband in the vehicle and a search was conducted. Deputies located a bag of marijuana in Shorter’s pants pocket. Shorter was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released on his signature. 

 

 

CDS ARREST:      

On April 17, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Windy Hill Road to check the welfare of a female subject.  A 911 call was received stating a female passenger in a blue SUV was heard yelling for help as the vehicle was traveling down the road.  Deputies located the vehicle and identified the two occupants were having a dispute. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Christopher Lee Sard, 19 of Trappe, MD and the passenger identified as his girlfriend. During contact with Sard, Deputies noted the odor of marijuana and a probable cause search revealed Sard was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Sard was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released on his signature. The dispute was found to be non-physical and no charges were placed. 

 

 

 

MULTIPLE WARRANT SERVICES:       

On April 18, 2017Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served four outstanding warrants in Talbot County. David Wayne Stroup Jr.33 of Bristol, VA turned himself in to Deputies on two outstanding District Court Warrants. Stroup was seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.  James Alexander Russell 3rd37 of Easton, MD was arrested on a Circuit Court Warrant and ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center. Mondrea Terreald Hasty42 of Trappe, MD was arrested on a District Court Warrant and was released on his personal recognizance by the District Court CommissionerWilbert Earl Bunch Jr45 of Easton, MD was arrested on a District Court Warrant at his Easton residence. Bunch Jr. was released on his personal recognizance by the District Court Commissioner.
