Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office execute warrants and make arrests on the following people, 8/14/2017.

CDS Arrest:       

On July 23, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyrez Lamar Johnson, 33 of St. Michaels, MD for controlled dangerous substance violations. Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Miles Lane for a controlled dangerous substance complaint and after gaining consent, searched the residence of Johnson locating cocaine, paraphernalia and marijuana. Johnson was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Johnson was released by a District Court Commissioner on his personal recognizance.

 

 

DUI Arrest:        

On July 23, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on St Michaels Road near Station Road for a moving violation. Deputies identified the driver as Christopher Angus Ford, 43 of Royal Oak, Maryland and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Ford attempted to perform standardized field sobriety tests; however he was unable to perform them satisfactorily.  Ford was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.  Ford was released to a sober driver.  

 

 

Assault / CDS Arrest:       

On July 24, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 9500 block of Black Dog Alley, Easton, Maryland for a domestic assault. Deputies identified the parties involved as Joseph Scott Acosta Jr, 30 and Sylvia Ranee Brooke Jones, 33 both of Easton, MD.  Investigation revealed Acosta assaulted Jones at their residence and injuries observed on Jones were consistent with an assault.  Acosta was arrested and charged with assault. A search incident to arrest revealed Acosta was in possession of marijuana. Acosta was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on a $5,000.00 unsecured bond.  Acosta was issued a civil citation for possessing marijuana.

 

 

Warrant Service:     

On July 26, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan Lee Bosley, 34 of Preston, MD. On July 6, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Circuit Court for Talbot County for failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing. Bosley was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center on a bond of $750.76.

 

 

Warrant Service:       

On July 27, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kenia Cecilia Itzep-Bernal, 22 of Easton, MD on two outstanding District Court warrants. A Talbot County District Court warrant was issued for failure to appear on traffic violations and a Queen Anne’s County District Court warrant was issued for failing to appear on separate traffic violations. Itzep-Bernal was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on an unsecured bond of $3,000.

 

 

CDS Arrest:         

On July 27, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on Ocean gateway near Bay Acres Drive for a moving violation. Deputies identified the driver as Wain Dewitt Brown, 54 and the passenger as Tara Yvette Brown 46, both of Cambridge, MD. Deputies detected the odor of a controlled substance and the passenger handed the Deputy a baggie of marijuana that both had been smoking. Wain and Tara Brown were issued civil citations for possession of marijuana and released upon their signatures.

 

 

Warrant Service:       

On July 29, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michaux Javier Jevonte, 22 of Easton, MD on two outstanding arrest warrants. On July 12, 2017 two arrest warrants were issued by the Talbot County Circuit Court for violation of probation relating to controlled dangerous substance convictions. Michaux was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond.

 

 

Warrant Service:       

On August 7, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Geoffrey Aaron Newman, 27 of Grasonville, MD on an outstanding warrant issued by the Circuit Court of Talbot County on April 19, 2017. The warrant was issued for violation of probation relating to controlled dangerous substance convictions. Newman was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond.

 

 

Warrant Service:       

On August 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Yashica Tyshell Pinder, 43 of Cambridge, MD. On August 7, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing for driving on suspended license. Pinder was seen by the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own recognizance.

 

 

Warrant Service:       

On August 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Wallace Thomas Fay, 48 of Easton, MD on two outstanding arrest warrants. On June 29, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for violation of probation related to a theft and trespassing conviction. On June 15, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Caroline County District Court for failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing on traffic charges. Fay was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his personal recognizance on both warrants.

 

 

Warrant Service:        

On August 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Karon Terez Lake, 21 of Easton, MD. On March 1, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County Circuit Court for violation of probation for controlled dangerous substance convictions. Lake was taken before a District Court Commissioner and ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond.

 

 

Warrant Service:        

On August 9, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley Marie Jordan, 26 of Easton, MD. On April 10, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for possession of a controlled substance. Jordan was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was released on her personal recognizance.

 

 

Warrant Arrest:          

On August 10, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michelle Renee Farrow-Maddox, 47 of Hurlock, MD on two warrants charging her with violation of probation. Farrow-Maddox was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond.  

 

 

Warrant Arrest:         

On August 10, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Erica Renee Pearn, 28 of Greenwood, DE on a fugitive warrant related to an open warrant from the State of Delaware. Pearn was taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered her held at the Talbot County Detention Center pending extradition to Delaware.
