Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office Arrested The Following People. (09/22/2017)

Assault Arrest:  

On August 19, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 28000 block of Sanderstown Road for a domestic disturbance involving an assault.  Deputies identified the participants as Jeffrey Allen Milligan, 50 and Holly Kirby Anderson, 39, both of Trappe, MD. Investigation revealed Anderson was thrown to the ground during a physical altercation and assaulted by Milligan.  Anderson had injuries consistent with the reported assault Milligan was placed under arrest. Milligan was charged with assault and taken before a District Court Commissioner who released Milligan on a $3000.00 unsecured bond.

 

 

Assault / Reckless Endangerment Arrest:

On August 20, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Bartlett Avenue and Hickory Ridge Road for a report of a domestic disturbance involving an assault with a motor vehicle. Deputies made contact with Karon Eric Taylor, 39 of Easton, MD who advised his wife, Starla Christa Taylor, 38 of Easton, MD assaulted him while they were riding in her vehicle. Karon Taylor advised he exited the vehicle and began to walk away when Starla Taylor attempted to hit him with the vehicle chasing him onto the grass. Minor injuries were observed on Karon Taylor consistent with an assault. Starla Taylor was placed under arrest and charged with assault and reckless endangerment. Starla Taylor was taken before the District Court Commissioner where she was ordered held without bond at the Talbot County Detention Center.

 

 

CDS Arrest:    

On August 27, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle for a moving violation. Deputies made contact with the driver, Joseph Elwood Thomas, 42 of Baltimore, MD, a front seat passenger, Tyshawn Javier Thomas, 20 of Baltimore, MD and a juvenile rear seat passenger.  Deputies detected the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Deputies located marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle resulting in Joseph Thomas being issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Thomas was released on his signature.

 

Warrant Arrest:   

On September 6, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served Jonathan Maurice Butler 29, of Preston, MD with a Circuit Court bench warrant for violation of probation.  Butler was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center where he was ordered held without bond pending an appearance before the Circuit Court Judge for a bond review.

 

 

CDS Arrest:   

On September 6, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle in the Highs Dairy Store parking lot, St. Michaels, MD for an equipment violation.  Deputies made contact with the driver, Franklin O’Connor Wallace, 31 of Cambridge, MD. While speaking with Wallace, Deputies detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle and Wallace handed the Deputies marijuana and paraphernalia. Wallace was issued a civil citation for possessing marijuana and released upon his signature.

 

 

Warrant Service:

On September 8, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served an outstanding warrant on Schyler Ozman, 25 of Preston, Maryland. The Talbot County Circuit Court issued a body attachment for Ozman for failing to appear as ordered for a scheduled court date on August 25, 2017. Ozman turned himself into Deputies and was taken to the Talbot County Detention Center to be held on no bond.

 

 

Alcohol Violation:  

On September 9, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office received information of an underage alcohol party in Royal Oak, Maryland. Upon their arrival, Deputies observed a large group of juveniles running from the scene into the surrounding woods. Deputies discovered alcoholic beverages and marijuana on tables near the rear of the residence. Deputies made contact with Ailsa Jane Salter, 50 of Royal Oak, MD. Deputies determined Salter provided the alcohol to the juveniles and allowed them to use her residence for the party. Salter was issued civil citations for purchasing and furnishing alcohol to minors. Salter was released on her signature.

 

CDS Arrest:   

On September 10, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s office responded to the area of Leeds Landing Road, Easton, Maryland for a single motor vehicle accident. Deputies observed a vehicle that backed through a fence onto private property, damaging the fence. Deputies identified the driver as Justin Anthony Adams, 18 of Cambridge, Maryland. Deputies detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Deputies located marijuana and issued Adams a civil citation for possession of marijuana and traffic citations for negligent driving and unsafe backing.
