Warrant Service:  

On October 18, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle in the area of Matthewstown Road and Beans Road, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland for a moving violation. Deputies made contact with the driver who identified himself as John Lee Dawson of Cambridge, MD; however Dawson did not possess identification. Deputies, with the assistance of Cambridge Police were able to identify the driver as Robert Lee Dawson who was wanted by Dorchester County Authorities. Dawson was placed under arrest on the open warrants and additionally charged with giving false name to a police officer, driving on a suspended license and speeding. Dawson was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center pending further court action.

 

 

Warrant Arrest:   

On October 18, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anna Jean Schumann, 27 of Easton, MD on five open warrants issued by Talbot County Courts. Schumann was located at her Easton residence, taken into custody and taken before a District Court Commissioner who released Schumann on a $5000 unsecured bond.

 

 

Warrant Service:   

On October 19, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Harley David Sard, 30 of Trappe, MD. On October 16, 2017 two warrants were issued by the Talbot County District Court for violation of probation where Sard failed to obey conditions of his conviction on charges of theft, possession of a controlled substance, burglary and possession of paraphernalia. Sard was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was ordered held without bond.

 

 

Warrant Service:  

On October 19, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Orme, 35 of Vienna, MD. On October 19, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for electronic harassment, peeping tom, trespass on private property and telephone misuse-obscene. Orme was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was ordered held without bond.

 

Warrant Service:    

On October 23, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Leon Lempke Jr., 52 of Trappe, MD. On September 11, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for violation of probation. Lempke was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was released on his personal recognizance.

 

 

Warrant Service:   

On October 23, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shannon MaGee, 45 of Dover, DE. On October 20, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court for threat of arson. MaGee was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance.

 

 

Warrant Service:

On October 23, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cody Wayne Lehman, 26 of Chestertown, MD. On October 10, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Queen Anne’s County District Court for burglary, theft and illegal possession of a firearm. Lehman was taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered him held on a $15,000 bond at the Talbot County Detention Center.

 

 

Warrant Service:

On October 28, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Clarence Roosevelt Beck 3rd,   41 of Chestertown, MD. On October 26, 2017 an arrest warrant was issued by the Queen Anne’s County District Court for failure to appear at a scheduled court date on original charges of driving on a suspended license. Beck was taken before a District Court Commissioner who released Beck on his personal recognizance.

 

 

CDS Arrest:

On October 28, 2017, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on Ocean Gateway near Rabbit Hill Road for a moving violation. Upon contact with the driver, Kevin Mackenzie Fields of Cordova, MD, deputies detected the odor of marijuana and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. Deputies located marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle, issuing Fields a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Fields was released on his signature.
