Assistant

 

A part-time position working 15 hours per week starting January 2018. Pay range, based on experience level: $12 to $15 per hour.  Responsible for assisting the executive director of the Caroline County Council of Arts. Tasks include: documenting all internal policies and procedure;
reviewing all CCCA communications including website, social media, newsletters, etc.;
checking and following up on mail, email, phone calls, etc.;
keeping track of key performance metrics including volunteer hours, membership and program attendance numbers, social media and website indicators, etc.;
coordinating volunteers;
understanding The Foundry retail and class registration systems;
maintaining The Foundry online shop (via Etsy)
coordinating Foundry maintenance;
maintaining files, records, inventory, databases, supplies, etc.; and
assisting in the general administration of programs, grants, meetings, projects, etc.
The successful candidate will be a flexible team player, attentive to details, professional, and able to multi-task. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and computer skills, and the ability to work independently, providing weekly reports. It is important for candidates to be innovative, manage their time well, be organized, and eager to learn. They must also be deadline oriented and work efficiently with a high standard of quality.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint). Experience with WordPress, Event Espresso, Signup Genius, Facebook, Intsagram, Canva, Meeting King, and Quickbooks preferred. Associates degree or higher education level required. If considered, references and background check will be required.
