On Friday, March 23, 2018, Compass Regional Hospice hosts its annual Gala at Annie’s Paramount Steak & Seafood House in Grasonville. The Compass Regional Hospice Gala is the premier fundraiser that supports hospice care and grief support available in Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline Counties. The name of the 2018 Gala is “Putting on the Glitz.”

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and features cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a seated dinner of petite filets and lobster tail. After dinner, the dance band Retrospect will entertain guests with a playlist that includes today’s hits and memorable tunes back to the Big Band era.

Gala guests will support Compass Regional Hospice by bidding on premier live auction items that were generously donated. Live auction items include an 8-day, 7-night experience at Tuscany Villa for eight people; the ultimate sports fan package; a private Kentucky Bourbon Trails Tour for two people; a rockfish charter boat trip for six people on the Chesapeake Bay; and a 5-day, 6-night stay at a three-bedroom February Point Resort Villa in Great Exuma, Bahamas.

New to this year’s Gala is a “Bubbly and Bling” champagne lottery. Gala guests may participate in the champagne lottery for a chance to win a 18K rose gold pendant necklace, whose diamonds collectively weigh 2.00 carats. The jewelry was graciously donated by Paula Warner.

This is a black tie optional event. Gala tickets are $200 per person and must be purchased in advance. To purchase Gala tickets and to sponsor the Gala contact Kenda Leager, 443‐262‐4106.
