Denton PD Make Arrests, Indecent exposure – Human feces smeared in cell – Man charged with 4th degree sex offence

09/06/2014 Time 12:23  Indecent Exposure Location : cRousE PARK 

Denton Police arrested Scott Denagy, 49 of Denton, for indecent exposure and other offences. Police responded to Crouse Park in reference to a possible intoxicated person who was reported to have nearly fallen into the Choptank River. Officers spoke with several citizens who pointed the subject out. The subject was identified as Denagy. The investigation revealed that Denagy was currently homeless but may have had contacts in the Federalsburg MD area. Police observed several empty beer cans discarded near a picnic table that citizens in the park advised were consumed and discarded by Denagy. Police were attempting to make contact with someone to assist Denagy when they observed Denagy walk to the wood line at the park, lower his pants and defecate along the wood line. Denagy then cleaned himself with tissue and discarded that tissue in the wood line. These actions were observed by other people in the park at the time. Once Denagy clothed himself he was taken into custody without incident. Denagy was charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure, 3 counts of littering under 100 pounds, disorderly conduct and consuming an alcoholic beverage where prohibited. Denagy was taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered Denagy held in lieu of $3000 bail after an initial appearance hearing.

 

09/06/2014 Time 16:50 Classification MDOP Under $500 Location : 100 blockNaRD sr 

Denton Police charged Scott Denagy, 49 of Denton, with MDOP and littering. Denagy was in police custody for an unrelated matter and was being held in a holding cell while processing was being completed. When officer removed Denagy from the cell they observed human feces hand been smeared on the walls of the cell. The cell was clean when Denagy was placed into it. Denagy was charged with the above violations and was taken before a District Court Commissioner who order Denagy held in lieu of $3000 bail after an initial appearance hearing.

 

09/06/2014 Time 21 :57  SeX Offense 4th Degree  Location :600 bIOCk LEGION RD 

Denton Police arrested Jeffrey West, 49 of Denton, for 4th degree sex offence and 2nd degree assault. The victim, who is an employee of Walmart, reported that a customer approached her and put his arm around her. As the victim attempted to pull away the suspect placed his hand on the victim’s breast and made a comment about the victim’s breast. The suspect was located in the parking lot of the store and identified as West. West was taken into custody without incident. West was charged with the above violations and taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance hearing. During that hearing West requested an attorney be present. West was then ordered held temporarily at the Detention Center until an attorney could be present for the hearing.

 

09/06/2014 Time 23:59 Classification DUI  Location : SHOREHY 

Denton Police charged Ronald Ormsbee, 50 of Denton, with DUI. Police had responded to Caroline Apartments for a disturbance call that Ormsbee was involved in. When police spoke with Ormsbee they noted that Ormsbee was obviously intoxicated. While speaking to another person involved in the incident Ormsbee was observed getting into a 2000 Dodge minivan. Police ordered Ormsbee not to drive however Ormsbee entered the vehicle and drove out of the complex. Police pursued Ormsbee north on 8th street where Ormsbee turned left onto Franklin Street. Ormsbee then travel south on Franklin Street, failed to stop at the stop sign at Shore Highway and proceeded west on Shore Highway, nearly striking two vehicles in the process. Ormsbee continued west on Shore Highway, continuously crossing across both lanes of travel. Ormsbee eventually pulled to the shoulder and was taken into custody. Ormsbee submitted to a breath test and the results of that test were. .21 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath. Ormsbee was issued citations for the above violations and released on his signature of those citations to a responsible party.

 

Date; 09/10/2014 Time 23:07 Driving on a Suspend License Location : FLEETWOOD

Denton Police charged Nicole Macey, 35 of Denton, with driving on a suspended license. Police stopped a 1998 Dodge for failing to stop at a stop sign and identified the operator as Macey. A check of MVA records revealed Macey’s license was suspended. The check also revealed that Macey had failed to change her address as required. Macey was issued citations for the violations and released on her signature of those citations.

Denton Police are investigating an MDOP to a vehicle. The victim reported the sometime between 5:00 and 8:30 pm on September 12, 2014 person(s) unknown damaged their vehicle by scratching it with a sharp object on both sides of the vehicle while it was parked and unattended. Date : 09/16/2014 Time 17:16 Theft Under $1000 Location 1 400 block E WESLEY CR 

Denton Police are investigating the theft of a rear motor vehicle registration plate. The victim reported that on an unknown date or time person(s) unknown stole the rear registration plate, MD 25N782, from a vehicle parked on their property. The tag expires in November 2014. Date : 09/17/2014 Time 12:45  Driving on revoked license Location; FLEETWOOD RD 

Denton Police charged Robert Dyer, 49 of Greensboro, with driving on a revoked license. Police responded to a property damage motor vehicle collision and found Dyer was one of the vehicle operators. A check of MVA records revealed that Dyer’s license was suspended and revoked. Dyer was issued three citations, one for driving suspended, one for driving revoked and one for driving without a license. Dyer was released upon receiving the citations.
