Date; 09/16/2014 Time 15:57  MDOP Under $500 Location : 1100 block COURSEY LN

Denton Police are investigating an MDOP. The victim reported that sometime between September 9 and September 16, 2014 person(s) unknown broke a window out of his 2011 RV. It appeared that the damage was caused by someone shooting the window with a BB gun. Date : 09/20/2014 Time 12:17 Burglary 1st Degree Location 1100 Block 10TH ST

Denton Police are investigating a residential burglary. Sometime between September 91 and September 20, 2014 person(s) unknown forced entry into a residence while the owners were not home. The suspect(s) ransacked the residence and stole personal items belonging to the victims. Date; 09/23/2014 Time 17:20  Forgery / Public Document Location 1500 block MARKET ST

Denton Police arrested Ryland Hubbard, 22 of Preston, for possession of counterfeit currency. Police responded to the Royal Farm Store in reference to a subject who attempted to make a purchase with currency that was found to be counterfeit. The suspect was located a short distance from the store, identified as Hubbard, and taken into custody without incident. Hubbard was processed, charged with the above violation and taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered Hubbard released on his own recognizance after an initial appearance hearing.

 

Date; 09/25/2014 Time 11:11  Theft under $1000 Location : 0 block S 5TH AV

Denton Police are investigating a theft. The victim reported that sometime between September 24, 2014 at 5:30 am and September 25, 2014 at 11:00 am person(s) unknown stole a cream and blue paddle boat from outside a property the victim owns. Further investigation revealed information that a concerned citizen observed two males (no further description) loading the boat into a black in color pickup (no further description).
